What Crown is. Crown analyzes photos of your hairline or crown and returns wellness scores, projections, and tracking tools. It is an informational wellness product.
What Crown is not. Crown is not a medical device and provides no medical advice. Scores and projections are estimates from photographs; they may be wrong, they vary with lighting and angle, and they must not be used to make health decisions. If you have concerns about hair or scalp health, talk to a qualified professional.
Eligibility. You must be 17 or older to use Crown.
Subscriptions (Crown+). Crown+ is an auto-renewing subscription ($4.99/week, $9.99/month, or $39.99/year, with a free trial where offered) billed through your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Trial time, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Prices may vary by region and may change with notice.
Fair use. Scan limits apply (currently up to 60 scans/month for subscribers) to keep the service fast and affordable. Automated or scripted use is prohibited.
Your content. You retain all rights to your photos. You grant us only the transient right to process a photo to produce your results, after which it is discarded. See the Privacy Policy.
Projections are illustrations. Five-year outlooks (including improvement scenarios) are illustrative extrapolations, not promises of any outcome.
Availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim for reliability but the service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
Termination. We may suspend access for abuse (including attempts to circumvent scan limits or device verification).
